Jackson County Seniors Fund
Supporting Older Adults Across Jackson County
In November 2024, Jackson County voters approved the Jackson County Seniors Fund to strengthen local programs that help older adults live independently, safely, and with dignity. Every dollar raised through this levy stays in Jackson County and goes directly toward services for the people who need them most.

The Fund does not provide direct financial assistance to individuals. Grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations and eligible community partners serving older adults in Jackson County.
How the Fund is Governed
A seven-member Board of Directors oversees the Fund, including stewardship of revenues and administration of grants. The Board was established through Jackson County ordinance and operates in full compliance with Missouri's open meetings and public records laws.
The Board is currently in the process of establishing financial systems, grant guidelines, and governance procedures. All actions are taken transparently and in alignment with the voter-approved purpose of the Fund.
